The Tourist Village Airone is in the hamlet of Aia di Martino a few kilometres from Riotorto and Follonica. From there, it takes about 15 mins. by car to reach places of historical interest such as Populonia, Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima and the beaches of Baratti and Cala Violina, and the ferries for the Island of Elba.
How to get to us:
FROM PISA: take the A12 Motorway to Grosseto.
At the Rosignano exit follow in the direction of Rome on the SS 1.
Exit at Vignale-Riotorto.
Follow Piombino-Perelli-Parco della Sterpaia for 2 kms.
The Tourist Village Airone is on your left.
FROM ROME:
take the A12 Motorway in the direction of Civitavecchia. Then take the SS 1 in the direction of Grosseto. After about 50 kms. exit at Vignale-Riotorto. Follow Piombino-Perelli-Parco della Sterpaia for 2 kms. The Tourist Village Airone is on your left. |
