Distance: 20 km (10 miles by ferry which takes about 50 minutes of time) The island of Elba is the largest of the Tuscan archipelago, and the third largest in Italy. Elba, along with other islands of the Tuscan Archipelago (Pianosa, Capraia, Gorgona, Montecristo, Giglio and Giannutri) is part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. Among the most important beaches of the island can include: Biodola, Procchio Fetovaia, cabbage, Marina di Campo, Lacona, and Lido di Neregno. |
